Every Single Time I Smile I Win
Every time a little smile
Appears upon my face
Your monitors remotely send you
Everything about this space
Any little variation
In heart rate or perspiration,
Decimeters of dilation,
Any attention’s duration,
How much light my eyes reflect
Why, you even can project
What I’ll accept or reject,
Of many, which I will select
Oh, yes, you already know
Where it is I plan to go
Tomorrow and tomorrow
And tomorrow…
And you know, as well, by eye
Introspectively when I
Give a little extra sigh
At something might have gone awry
And it’s not only times like this
You get your twisted little bliss
From making ugly awkward sounds
With transceivers placed me round
Oh, no! You are much more thorough
Yes, you sadistic’ly know
Every exquisite detail
You can make to here prevail
Over any peace of mind
I imagine I might find,
Borrow, beg, or win by lot
By a moment’s serene thought
Anytime I awkward am,
Any inconvenienced
Any frustrated or sad
Instantly there be commenced
Your perpetual Chinese
Drop of water to release
Yet another ugly sound
In the air which me surround
Under circumstance as these
Only one thing left me please:
Every smile I have begun ~
I won. I won. I won.
