In reading history, this poet has been consistently astonished at how many of our great creative minds ~ especially the females ~ have lived effectively disabled. Photographs of them researching, writing, painting and otherwise creating from sickbed are legion.

Disabled Dedication
To do the work that I was born to do
Doth not require me to appointments keep
I know I may not be well enough to
Attend — At that moment, I might be deep
In meditation, creativity or, sooth,
Huddled in a sudden access of pain
Which hath prevented all this life, in truth,
Accrual of pecuniary gain
To do this work, I need not surely be
As neat as any polished silver pin
These tidy poems sometimes messily
This blinking, staggering author begin
It is both my salvation and delight
Simply to sit — simply to dream — simply to write

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working seven days a week to contribute to her society, however.
Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE Nevada account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
