Following this poet’s public observation on Saturday night that first response vehicles do not run sirens after midnight unless confronted with a traffic jam (please be assured there are none such vanside at this hour) ~

~ first response vehicles have passed it after midnight tonight, full volume.

These are our heroes. Our mature, upstanding citizens.

Spouting hatred ~ in uniform ~ in city vehicles ~ like some sort of sadistic five year olds.

… For a poet.

And getting away with it.
