The fabled Buddhist monks of Tibet have cooperated in much of the research establishing scientific acknowledgement of the very real effects of meditation in the mind and body.
At one point a group of these monks was asked to go “far seeing” to find out whether the human race will destroy the Earth.
“It will be a very close thing,” They reported upon their return. “So close that it will seem inevitable. And then ~ there will be extraterrestrial intervention.”

Brave New World
I dreamed of Earth’s new fifth dimension
Once again the other night
I’m always happy when that happens
It proves to be such an encouraging sight!
In the air closely above us
Motherships the size of cities
Full of folk who love and help us
Solve our planet’s mysteries
Clearing our land, our air and our seas
Faster than we could have even imagined
By gathering all information together
With good will together our Eden refashioned
Yes, there are crystalline centers of learning
But most of the land is allowed clear to breathe
Surrounding old dwellings all fondly remodeled
No poisonous gloss has each surface received
By oils and minerals available
Around us our dry shelter’s won ~
And here’s the shocker, hold your hat:
Everybody has one!
Even the shuttles are curiously
Flavored with home-style DIY ~
It’s not too difficult, it seems,
To get folks through the sky
In swiftness and in silence,
Without a trail pollution of ~
Their passengers can’t be described
Using any word but love
Cramped the quarters in the lounge
Where we go to meet each other
Standing happy close together
At the counter with each brother
For it feels good to be close to
Someone from whom you have naught to fear
Where only friendly conversation
Ever entertains the ear
We look back on the age then past
Of aggressive falseness full
And dismiss it with a shrug
As ~ patently illogical…
Back upon the ground we see
A very wide variety
Of vehicles which have been altered
Most creatively!
One man, I fondly remember,
Had paneled all in plexiglass
His truck bed, where he placed an armchair,
Little table, and a glass
All facing backward, so he might
Have an unrestricted view,
Reclining, of all those
He merry greetings waved unto…
Commerce left behind most trucks
And airplanes that it used before
Lots of trade is regional
Conducted in the sun’s outdoor
For we’ve returned to taking off
One day a week for some good fun ~
To have ourselves a pleasure Faire
While we our mundane errands run…
In present, after each such dream
I must still awake
But thanks to them I know about
The brave new world we might together make
