No Longer Supported

We don’t blame you for being a bit
Freshemelled and confused
If it were one of us
You’d be highly amused

But now the balance shifts ~ the shoe
Is on the other foot
And none of us feels from your
Discomfort get any good

Be all that as it may, any compatibility
Between our systems now we lack,
So, timely, we notify you
That we no longer have your back

Your motivations’ catalog is
All destructive passion
Which in days past always got you
Sweet feminine reaction

Now feel no need to abdicate,
Oozing with base unction,
What has presently become
Her independent function

Your erstwhile base ability
Viewed now retrospectively
Charact’rized, deservingly,
Anacronistically!

Empty heads and empty muscles
Just don’t cut it any more
Nor dualistic combatic
Threats with people wipe the floor

Your loud polluting car
Doesn’t even cause a fuss
Ignored, and that politely,
By the rest of us

Though adulated formerly
Rank insensitivity
Publicly perceived now be
As utter juvenality

Your tall beer will reliably
Obliterate reality ~
We microdose, our growing world
To meet creatively

We posit not of your removal
To effect exactment ~
You’ll survive, like farthingales, as
Historical reenactment

When we wish remember to
Of how much shit were former full
We’ll dress way down and travel to
A distant outdoor festival

    1. Hey, bro ~ do you mean you feel these behaviors are no longer supported, or that you yourself are not? The first would be good, the second I would deeply regret, as you send out support generously.

      4. I heard something very wise when I was young: that in this life our relationships are created to balance karma, to serve and assist, to learn. Once those goals are achieved between two souls the relationship tends to drift apart. The speaker thought that properly executed and interpreted such an event indicates not failure, as we label it, but success.

The trouble comes in that we have created social structures in which love is so circumscribed that it barely manages to exist, and we are expected to maintain any source of it indefinitely by remaining within its limits, which either party may naturally grow away from at any time. Like imprisoning a healthy seedling in a glass box. We have to give reasons for the drifting, the way we used to have to do before no fault divorce. Makes things unnecessarily painful.

I have so been there ~ you are not alone. People advanced in connection with self tend to go through it more than most. The clearer you see yourself, the clearer you see others, and they feel it deeply ~ all their charades stripped away, soul bare. After a while, one look into your silent eyes becomes unendurable to them, and search for blameworthy excuses begins…
