Magical Day

If I knew I’d die tomorrow
O how glad I’d be today
Just to sit this peaceful corner
Watch our world go on its way

See the sunshine slanting down
Hear the laughter of a child
Remember when because of me
Some sorrowful spirit smiled

Wipe a tear of gentle pathos
Take a moment out to pray
Glad and thankful I exper’ienced
All the Magic of Today
