Hieros Gamos

Two streams of learning mightily
Flow through human history
One stream dedicated to
Stability supporting you

The other championing our
Sovreign and ascendant pow’r
To, individually,
Create our own reality

Each its contribution brings
Each suffers from its shortcomings:
One which freedom tends deface
One which lacks a moral base

Each one hates the other — why?
Might be appropriate try
(You who speak of synthesis
And potential human bliss)

See the other perspective
Also helping us to live! —
Any time that you say “no”
In less than the whole truth you go
