Welcome Loving Truth

Welcome in some honesty
Welcome in some truth
Welcome in a trusting grace
Welcome you, forsooth!

Welcome in to honor ~
Here, an upright stance
Will not have us looking at you
Sideways and askance

Likewise we would like to mention
We welcome your good intention
And your mellow attitude
Ours is also ~ it’s all good!

We’d like to say that you can stay
Because we are no fools
Won’t violate agreements
Bend our words and change the rules

Nobody who goes by here of
Household membership the name
Is going to subject you
To any kind of jealous game

We say that we are quiet
And quiet’s what we really are,
We don’t care if a little smoke
Helps you reach your poetic star

In short we, a lot like yourself
Really do prefer
People who behave exactly
As they said they were

Talk to us if something’s wrong
And we’ll talk to you
We’ll all get this period of
Initial adjustment through

You’ll find us a relief from your
Anxieties and fears
We’ll make ourselves a happy home
For years, and years, and years
