*****

remind me my friend

of what an
idiot i am
willya

that i’ve met
more deserving people
cleaning my floors and toilets

remind me
of what i don’t know:
everything

of souls still today
paying a terrible price
for the ground i stand on now

let me not forget
that i am not worthy to kiss the feet
of those who kiss my feet

i am thanks giving
for all the gifts i have been given
by asking for one more gift

take some of these others
away but leave me
if i may please

only be worthy to
have it left a little
humility

don’t, somehow
let the smiles of good fortune
turn my head

away from
equally deserving, equally
miraculous blades of grass

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working seven days a week to contribute to her society, however.

Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE Nevada account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.

Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
