The One Righteous Man

There was, or had been,
A righteous man
In the city of Sodom

One who owed no favors
Kept no guilty secrets
Told no untruths

They could not believe
In that man’s sincerity,
Having none of their own

He was gone
Before accounting angels
Showed up on the scene
