to such absolute
abstrusininity

that even your professors
have become convinced that
could they but understand it
you’d really have
something
worth hearing
to say

however

if what you’re affirming
is that

justly

intrinsically

lifelong

your worth
is ten times
one hundred times
one thousand times greater
than that of any laboring brother

then

it is not

in fact

worth hearing

and
whoever taught you

taught you wrong
