I heard Mommy dissin’ Santa Claus
On her telephone real late last night

She was thorough when she dissed:
Said he doesn’t even exist

If I thought she was serious
I’d have had a serious fright

Yes, I heard Mommy dissin’ Santa Claus
Actin’ like she wasn’t actin’ bad

I don’t think I her can trust
And tomorrow I’m sure I must
Run the whole thing by my dear — old — Dad!
