kindergarten tour

i was honored
once
for a little while
to visit
a civilization
of worms

their mind

(for it was indeed one group mind,
meaning all might share
all therein)

was a wonderland
of associations

reached

not by anything resembling
our rigidified systems of
dualistic classification

but instead

via a veritable
disney boat ride
through effortlessly
curving conjunctions
of thought…

their women
hundreds of times the males’ size
are segmented

entering any segment,
one finds oneself in a different
chemically enhanced
pleasure palace…

no one among them
is ever unkind —
at a certain level of intelligence
this is recognized as counterproductive…

their parties
are the very definition
of outrageous…

there was so much
to see and learn

they had to dumb it down
dumb it down
dumb it down again

and then give me the
kindergarten tour
