Beautiful to Him
His “mistress’s eyes are nothing like the sun”
But shine with true affection’s honest glow
With admiration, heartfelt love, and fun
Such as the solitary never know
She “loves to hear him speak,” and he, as well,
Rather listen to her belov’d voice would
As she love’s tidings continual tell
Than any other sound, it is so good
He gives the roses glowing in her skin
She gives the confidence with which he meet
Each happy day, as hopefully begin
They two together every prospect greet
Let all the world, enslaved to fashion’s whim
Be blind to her — she’s beautiful to him

This poet works for the good of her nation and society, seven days a week.
She’s in a pretty bad fix right now ~ already homeless, and now the van she lives in has stopped running. Not a hope of fixing it without donations. One ticket is death. Real.
Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com to make donations of any amount, using code 72D-31S. It will take about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
International donors should contact her through these comments or the contact page address on this site for special instructions.
Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
