Center of the Sunflower

Well, hello!

I see by the twinkle in your eye that you are here with me.

There are many very close by who are somewhere slightly or very different than here with us.

To them, this looks like the curb in front of a downtown Greyhound station in the wee hours of a very chilly morning.

But from here we can see that this is like the center of a sunflower, isn’t it?

You can wander around all you like on any of its petals, but you cannot end up anywhere but right here!

The place where they all connect.

Now that we’re here together, I’d love to know by which petal you yourself arrived.

Was it one of the religious petals? Spiritual? Philosophical?

Scientific?

Personal trauma?

Isolation? Intimidation? Abuse?

War?

Imprisonment?

I know your story is just full of things I’ve never experienced, and therefore know nothing about!

It’s nice here, isn’t it?

Heh, heh. Nobody out on a limb.

So…

This seed looks inviting, have y’self a seat right here beside me.

Take a load off.
