For the record, this poet is not communist, any more than she is capitalist. The poet is non-politically partisan. Her message is that any human societal system, while necessarily imperfect, will work best when applied with kindness and a sense of basic justice.

lifelong

your worth

it is not

worth hearing

whoever taught you
