Truth To and Falsehood From

Only the fruitful tree, a poet wrote,
Is stoned or shaken its nourishment for —
Be not dismayed if barren spirits gloat,
If lesser entities your gifts abhor

Who have not paid, themselves, the awesome price
Sayers of sooth endure, we hereamong,
Using their truths as but sordid device
A limping self esteem to help along

Using lies for this purpose also, so
All difference between the two is blurred
That they another crippled step may go
No matter what the karmic price incurred

Serenely go, dear soul — serenely come —
The world of truth to, and of falsehood from
