It’s Going to be Okay
In midst of my last toussle
With 3D reality
I did not my guides neglect
To ask, responsibly
What lessons the experience
Might have in store for me
My guides replied that none there be
Of old wounds open were
And that by this experience
I should much else infer:
They pointed out that in the past
I always did prefer
To swallow down in loving silence
Insults others by
And not to stand for my own rights
Ever even try
But silently and quietly
Simply say good bye
Encouraged me to feel my rage
As I never did
No matter how urgently to
In early life was bid:
When I began to doubt myself
They firm but gently chid
They said to me a thing
My spirit friends quite often say
When they are guiding me through
Swamps midst which I make my way
When I begin to give self-doubt
Its so unpleasant sway
“Just be real,” they say to me,
“For you are really just —
It’s time you learned in your own pow’r
To much more fully trust
When you feel like saying to
What’s wrong, ‘This is a bust’
Then that’s what we think you,
Despite your worrying about
Your spiritual focus, should do:
Call a lout a lout
And untruths lies; remind folks what
This is supposed to be about!”
So this girl opened up and blew off
Unaccustomed steam
More than one individual
A second nostril ream
And, checking through it all,
Her inner light still brightly beam
At just about the stage
At which she’d made herself some sick
Thinking back there on her Path
She must have hit a slick
And spun all the way off the road
Into unmitigated ick
(However, it must also be
Said of this new facet of she:
It kept itself in good control
Still focusing upon the whole
Though maybe somewhat less content
Leaving those folks after she went)
Well, everybody understood!
Forgave and pitched in for the good
And the affirmative, which would,
Offered with a touching love,
Recent detractions belie…
Sometimes, we just need to try.
