Jumped the Gun

Targeting network to Sean Powers:

You were our evil genius
Teaching every one of us
How to extra rotten be
Secrets of the EMP
Poisons let into the air
Fires over here, fires over there
Big rigs sent into a spin
Oh, your mischief made us grin
Football fields of litter
Made your reputation glitter
And when it came
To light up your name
Collapsing cranes and overpasses
Driving insane lads and lasses
More suffering than you could name
Around each shattered water main!…

But now we don’t like you at all
FBI and INTERPOL
Were not part of the equation
When you caused us such elation

Text it on another phone:
You could not leave that girl alone
You could not be happy
Without that publicity
You wanted to famous be

And now it’s true
We’re all looking at you ~
The stupid clown
Who brought us all down

Down to one or two
Idiots who will give rides to you

Won’t get no older
Look over your shoulder:

You jumped the gun,
Son
