Impatient to Begin

If I punch in a change of course
Nor following adjustment see,
If I make a request
From the all-wise Divinity

And find that I do not aquire
That favor instantly
Then, for the moment, I must be
Where I’m supposed to be

My nouveau-wealthy status
As cocreator makes me not
An entity for whom much troubled
Inconven’ience must be got

But one who seeks to study
How I may least disruptive be
In role of best assisting
High Realities to Be

Behooves this novice on the great
Forces of all the universe
To show some willingness to wait
Before God with mere self converse

Before the stars are made to turn
Back their designate courses in
Because I was a little bit
Impatient to begin.
