Distracted and Destructive

Where our thoughts go we will follow —
What our minds are made to swallow
They’ll again regurgitate
In a world which we create

What it is we choose to see
Will select what we will Be:
Agape in the golden Name
Or some antagonistic game,

Violent, as many are,
Glorifying endless war? —
Perchance a better world we’ll win
Sunk another sitcom in

Celebrating an attack
Friend behind another’s back
Never really wonder why
Characters must have to lie?

Concentrate we on release
Of humanity to peace,
Or munching through, again, alone,
Yet another Game of Throne,

In which betrayal’s seen to be
An acceptability
Natural in family
To distracted and destructive we?
