After authoring 5,000 pages of new works in about five years one finds oneself in the position of encountering titles in ones listings about which there remains little memory of what was actually written.

The poet had this experience today with regard to the sonnet below ~ only to find its contents, when she checked, to be perfect at this time for one of her online friends…

Level Up

How admirable is the noble soul
Receives the truth with equanimity
And uses it to make the self more whole
Gracefully, smoothly — and, sooth, gratefully

So also must be grateful, in return,
This chann’ling reed through which that coaching came —
A merely human one, humanly yearn
To have her friendship known by its true name

Now — new beginnings, loving growth, will come
From this sweet moment, such a one to please
Who willing was to lift her spirit from
Outdated, and now useless, energies

May happinesses so numerous be
For her — they add up to serenity
