Banished From Juvenile Hall

Do you imagine that you’ve sent me
Scurrying away
With my tail between my legs
And nothing left to say?

Do you tell yourself your party
Is the only one in town
Presenting self friendly and hearty
As you gather small renown?

Do you work with inuendo
My unsuitability
Bruit about, hoping that no one
Will consent to talk to me?

Exaggerating my requests
And grievances so that they be
Paragons of ego-ridden
Unreasonability?

Go ahead and run your show
Just the way you want to do
Not aware enough to know
It will all come back on you
