I Beckon Love

I beckon love into my life
I beckon mutual delight
At sunrise as at evening light
I beckon glances warm and bright
— I beckon love into my life

I beckon graceful harmony
Conversations leisure long
Silence holding nothing wrong
This kind of harmony I bring
Such as between true brothers be

I beckon it, both now and here
The authentic, brave and true
Higher road companions who
Will see each other faithful through
Beauty and brightness, want and fear

I beckon love into my life
Which makes its only, only goal
To see the other’s smile unroll
I ask now from my deepest soul
