For Sean Powers ~ who is behind more of the area’s field and structure fires, waterline disturbances, steel failures and powerline disruptions over the last two months than anyone seems to suspect.
… Just as he has been in every other area in which the poet has so much as tapped her brakes in her three year, 15,000 mile odyssey to find someplace ~ anyplace ~ where this ‘old family friend’ would just. Leave. Her. Alone.

What You Want
You want me incapacitated
You want me sad, you want me weak
You want me too confused and too
Deeply depressed to speak
You want me thinking all night
And all of every day of you,
Not because of kindnesses
Or special things you do
But dreading your existence,
Your energy, a hurricane
Of selfishness, confusion
Dishonesty and pain
