Ladies, Don’t You Worry’ Bout Me
I see and I respect —
I have consideration of —
These prisons you create
For one another, call it love
No exploring
Don’t you dare
Even look
Over there
I myself
Wish partners to
Have all
The happiness they view
Then come back
Sweet home to
Share happiness
With me too
Adventure stories
We relate
Closer bonding
Thus create
In your hot
Possessive stew
That would just mean
I don’t care about you (!)
Expected to feel
Severe jealousy
About every female
I happen to see
Who likewise should
Shake inwardly
Due to my
Vicinity
Forgive this, my friends —
But just for me
These things far
From true love be
And until society
Wakes to what love’s all about
I’m no threat to your hegemony —
Happy to do without
