Easier Early to Decide
Give them what they say they want
And then see what they do
See whether they really wanted
What they asked of you
There are those firmly affirm,
Those who swear both up and down,
That they want uncondit’ional love
Then meet it with a frown
There are those whose happiness
They say depends upon your trust
But when you grant it to them
Will commence to be unjust
Many folks who swear politeness
Makes them happy do but talk ~
When politeness be the rule
Feel on eggshells they must walk
Bestow upon them every wish
Do just what they say:
‘Tis eas’ier, early, to decide
To turn and walk away
