Cocreation’s Completion

Know it when you see it
When you get to be it
Finally get free, it

Might not immediately
Inescapably
Obvious be

You worked early and late
Patiently to cocreate
That new career, household or mate

Be careful you
Keep that in view
When it comes to
Making it true

For, in final analysis,
The things which add up to our bliss
Make rather ordinary lists

Hard to remember that, before,
When we were going to the store
Imagined felicity more

Than adequate
If only fate
Would abate
Our lack of mate

And that, if brightly shining he
(Unless we would prefer a she)
Appeared in our vicinity

Each errand run,
Each task begun,
By love all spun,
Would just be fun!

Well, here be all was in your dream
Now tends more ordinary seem
Till we the Light of mem’ry beam

On circumstance —
Present romance
In which we dance —
Give it a chance

Develop all ideally
Now Here, we must tend carefully
The blossom we have brought to Be

Which will with speed,
Oh, yes indeed,
Granted its need,
Sprout “like a weed”

Needs only recognition for,
In light of sorrows gone before,
Increase appreciation more

Thankfully go
Creation know
Whilst yet in flow
To help it grow
