A Little Admiration Left
What would you give for one true friend
Whose friendship is so real
They will extend the truth of love
Nor calculate the deal
As to whether or not
Benefit from it may accrue —
Would that friend be a precious
Resource unto you?
If they but remained silent
On minor points your conducts of
Which manifest a different
Variety of love
And praised similar ones
Repeatedly right to the sky,
Only reserving to their soul
Their privilege not to lie
When asked to change to something
They were never meant to be
By your utterly self convinced
Superiority
Would you decide to value
That friendship less than others you
In its very presence
Attribute oft unto
Superlatives of deep respect
Diverted right and left,
Or would you have for it
A little admiration left?
