Comparatively Few

All those times you had the laugh
At the others’ expense
Thinking you had effortlessly
Breeched every defense

Were in fact felt clearly those
Sensitive souls by,
Were the source of bitter tears
They secretly cry

If one or two of those salt tears
Comes sprinkling back to you
No matter how many, they are
Comparatively few
