Poetic Way
Nobody is perfect
Who still hangs around this place
With a physical body
And recognizable face
The point of being here is not
To ever faultless be
But to accept feedback
From our human family
And learn from every failing
And grow from every gloom
Find in a much exper’ienced heart
Misfortune hath carved there the room
Understanding brethren for
Who walk the same paths that we did
And find the same pitfalls cleverly
Upon those paths fatally hid
And look to us, now, for some hope
Of treading in a better way
Than they’d been able to perceive
Only yesterday

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level.
Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
