True Beauty
True beauty emanates from deep within
A loving and a sympathetic soul —
Much deeper than mere surface of the skin,
True beauty shines from one whose heart is whole
It matters not if one is slender or
Bountifully proportioned; whether one
Is dark or light — it matters so much more
That in true self-respect each day’s begun
And carried through with calm serenity
For such brings radiance to any face,
The body’s motions harmonious be,
Reflecting thus an inner sense of grace
The loveliest of people always are
Those whom within themselves are not at war
