Truth Be Told

These are creation’s final moments
Our old era’s past and done —
Down to us, now, to determine
What creation is begun

These are times which, through the ages,
Have by many been foretold
Ancient calendars and modern
Clear predicted there behold

One man will be taken up
And another left behind
One a brilliant new light know
Another staying to it blind

One whom, sleeping, sudden find
Self in dimensions heavenly
Another who will wake, the same
Deter’iorating world to see

And, prior to that moment,
Are those moments which we walk through now,
With, by heav’nly dispensation,
Opportunity endowed

For exposition of just how much
We have come in life to learn —
Commitment for, each one,
One or that other fate to earn…

Which realm will you, by habit, choose
When separation starts
And unto some, but not to others,
Ecstasy imparts?

Back with the liars, down with those
Who took the easy out?
Is that, for you, the summary
Of what life’s learning’s all about?

Comfortable only with
Those who sing with you along
That separating, self defeating
Planet killing song
