You really should have seen these “alpha females” in Pueblo City. Screaming like fishwives. Physically pounding on the poet’s van. Pushing lights and cameras in her face while doing their very best to make her angry.

If it had been the poet herself doing even the first part of any of those things it would have meant her instant arrest.

But ~ in our America where “all men are created equal” ~ that’s not what happened to these females at all.

Right?

The Pack Begins to Circle

The pack begins to circle
They’re nipping at her heels
The Alpha females in the lead
Each pers’nal umbrage feels

‘Gainst any form of loveliness,
Any woman who hath not
Entitlement and security
By dedicated ugliness bought

They work it as a unit
Gossipy insinuation
Here, a planted crime,
Subsequent accusation

Admirably practiced
Their group technique, but here’s the thing:
The name for what they’re doing
Is that same old saw: railroading

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level.

Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.

Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
