Caught Up in the Play

Compassionately now today
I from my deepest center pray
For each and every spirit which
Is caught up in this play

Those who are weak, those who are wrong
I bless all others right along
Despite insensitivity
About what’s happening with me

May something in my verses be
Basis of future clarity —
Or if fate cannot be so warm
Bless me to have done small harm
