When something turns out right for you, what do you think of first ~ celebrating it, or getting revenge on those who tried to stop it?
Multiplication ~ or division?

Greatest Gain
We look up from preoccupation, to
The world which has been all around us view —
And find that, while we have distracted been
By work and inspiration, and not seen,
It seems now to have, all around us, changed
Happily and peacefully rearranged
‘Tis now we must take care our gears to shift,
Above those former scenes our eyes to lift,
And hearts, and lips — to lift up everything
Which will more of such happiness here bring —
Unto appropriately grateful selves release
Abundances of that which will well please
In its own way, this is another test —
Were we created only to protest
The wrongs which in our lives could be made right,
Or, too, equipped to celebrate delight
In song, in word, in love, in poetry
When we no need, but much happiness see?

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working seven days a week to contribute to her society, however.
Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
