Making Memories

Live life with enthusiasm
Make a few mistakes
Issue an apology
Those are just the breaks

Take your heart out of the closet
Show it to some open air
See what may be waiting for it
In way of adventure there

Check a situation that you
May not have been in before
See if it new int’rests might
For you then open up a door

Lose your worry about critics
And eternal precedent
Develop for unfamiliar
Explorative space a bent

So you wobbled for a moment
Just a trifle awkward
That’s how real situations go
Media undoctored

Don’t be like the feeble millions
So scared to make one mistake
They will roll right past existence’
Most amazing break

So you fall a time or sev’ral
So somebody laughs at you
You will be chock full of wisdom
When your youthful days are through

Looking back, you’ll have a thousand
Pictures your fond heart to please
Because all the while you never
Stopped making memories
