Go Ahead and Read This Aloud, I Dare You To!

Well we wonder whether whither
We will wander will amaze,
For fair fallow fields of flowers
Fully fascinate the gaze

Hour after alluring hour —
Are our hearts ardent enow? —
Strolling sweetly through the strewn
Sibilence of grassy noon

Sharing sweetest syllables
Sensible sensitive tells
Scare and timor sternly quells:
Feather on faint frothy swells

Easily easing easefully
East, to — whate’er there be East
When I am gazing (um) East of me —
Not looking there for West, at least

Oh, holy moley, Joe frijole
Cauldron bake and roly poly
— Apparently, I am solely
Destined to be on the dole-y!

Precious paucious poesy
Pertinent — perhaps pert — be
Elevating irritation with’ringly within
Sensitive portions of the nation

Could do more easily without
That which, forsooth, such find uncouth
(No, really; worse than bad Vermouth) ~
Our horrible habit of alliteration!

Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.

Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
