Thankful for WordPress
When I feel sad, discouraged or alone
When circumstance conspires to put me down
The universe has me as its good clown
And mighty tired of living have I grown
If I were someone else on such a day
My urge would be to find a way to shirk
Anything that appeared resemble work
In favor of more recreative play
But feel no need despondent moments waste
Avoiding what I do most every day
In all my world there is no better way
For sorrow to find self with joy replaced
I there discover mana for the mind
Encouragement for the discouraged heart
Examples of the most inspiring art
And lofty meditations frequent find
There authors are who really understand
The price be paid to find and to impart
Those high truths we may access, through our art,
Know that the side-effects get out of hand
For those who amble through this world of strife
Unguarded and in contemplation, sooth,
More vulnerable than audacious youth,
Without the loss of sanity or life
A price such dispensation for is made to pay
Early and late, at morning, midnight, noon
Seeming to passersby a mere buffoon
For going dreamily about the day
Without this creative community
Its energy uplifting to impart
Life would have shattered this my broken heart
Unto unrecognizability
