Questionable Addition

Although her motivation’s pure
To the point of nausea
Her social skills are so dang poor
It’s like she is a walking “duh”

She smiles when she is happy
Not when she wants something from you
Her poetry is sappy
Difficult to wallow through

And let’s not even talk about
Her chosen mode of daily dress
Even when she’s walking out
My dear — oh, heaven bless!

The skeptical are doubtful of
Her relationship with God —
Whose followers all think her love
Of the Goddess very odd

All very well that she intend
Presence nothing but benign
If her conscience will not bend
To a party line!

We are reminded ~ heavens know it ~
Creative souls have ever been
(Most especially a poet)
What you’d not want your back room in

Lewdly dancing, earnest praying
And everything in between
‘Round the children, we’re just saying
How would she affect a teen?

Maybe something somewhat milder
Represent us by we ought
This one be just a bit wilder
Than may be securely bought

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working seven days a week to contribute to her society, however.
