There Will Be a Record
There will be a record
Left behind me when I leave
For whichever curious
The truth wish to receive
All of our communications
In the ether are,
Those of them promoted peace
And those which promulgated war
Those which used our networks to
Their brothers’ benefit
And those to run roughshod over
Those selfsame brothers who saw fit
Those who stifled innovation
For petty hegemony
Those who thought that it more prudent
Silent to injustice be
Those took pleasure from their sisters’
Abject misery ~
It will all be obvious,
To any wish to see
Restrictions only last a few
Short years, then we decide
To make those same materials
Now “declassified”
And sure there is no way we have
Accomplish the feat
Actual destruction of
Those records, though we hit “delete”
Electronics are forever ~
Think before, today,
Projecting words, tomorrow which
You might wish to unsay

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working seven days a week to contribute to her society, however.
Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE Nevada account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
