What People Need
Remember that one time — or two
You really, really stupid were?
The times your closest friends unto
Are careful not refer
Because a friend would not desire,
Being fully “on your side,”
Unhappy mem’ries to inspire,
To hurt already damaged pride?
We all have those bad memories
When we might neither woeful we,
It seemed, nor any other, please,
Comfort’s blessings never see
We cannot put our falling shy
Of sweet perfection on back shelves
Here’s the simple reason why:
We can’t forgive ourselves
If we for selves, as others, try
Give people what they need to live
Perhaps we’ll learn to, by and by,
Forgive, forgive, forgive…

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working seven days a week to contribute to her society, however.
Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S, or choose to send a personal check to the poet’s ABLE Nevada account. It takes about two weeks for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
