Where are we going?

The elders say we are going to a warm place.

How do they know?

They heard it from the elders before them, who heard it from the elders before them.

When will we get there?

We won’t get there at all. We will spend our lives flying.

Ah, then. Our children will get there.

Yes. Our children will get there.

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working to contribute to her society, however, seven days a week.
