Sequential Sadnesses

The truth is inconvenient
Everywhere it go
And if it is the truth of love
Even so much more so

A poet’s task is to relate
Truths of love to small and great
The grateful ~ likewise, the ingrate,
The lover, and who love to hate

A calling sorrowful, ’tis true
As any here our Earth upon:
Everyone is so relieved
When a poet’s gone

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working to contribute to her society, however, seven days a week.
