Remember?…

Remember, when you were a youthful sprout,
How all confused this wild world made you feel?
How you tried this, then that, to check them out,
Uncertain what be false and what be real?

Remember, now, how patient those around
Cut “puppy-slack” unto your growing soul
Keeping your helium baloon fast to the ground
Whilst you surveyed each part, to find the whole?

Remember what a process, then, it were?
How frustrating — unending, so it seem,
Before you come to life’s part you prefer
Prepared — set free — to manifest your dream?…

A seeking younger gathers wisdom from

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working to contribute to her society, howeverseven days a week.
