Giving Feeling

True love is a giving feeling
Not a grasping needy one
One promoting peaceful healing
Nor expecting something done,

By the treasured, in return
Ones gratification for,
Expectation of result
Put their happiness before

Such by other names is called,
Ego, insecurity,
The focus on the self is turned
In no part altruistic’ly

The loving only need to know
That inimitable grace
Of feeling their true loving has
Put smiles upon the others’ face

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working to contribute to her society, however, seven days a week.
