An Inconvenience
A poet is an inconvenient thing:
It laughs aloud when life amusing be
And weeps real tears when that life sorrows bring —
An’ it no class revulsion in that see
Yet, somehow, so outdoes in elegance
Those who have thousands on beauty to spend
With a mere ten at hand — why, at a glance,
One may not any detail well amend!
When asked a question, it will tell the truth
Without a thought to its self-interest —
‘Tis such a social albatross, forsooth
That by its absence pray we to be blessed!
My heavens — what a world if everyone
Walked colorful and smiling in the sun!

Until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ and to begin once again to create professional connections and begin to rebuild her life, this poet presently lives homeless and at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level ~ still working to contribute to her society, however, seven days a week.
Arts patrons may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S. It does take several days for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
