Whole and Perfect
They tell us we can heal the past
Cocreatively
Creating something which will last
Affirmatively
Less than the rewriting
Of fact’ual history
But more than mere delighting
In endings happily
Envisioning the process,
My inner eyes can see
A way to cut the losses
Retroactively
Preserving truth’s part
Undisturbed:
Begin with your heart
Unperturbed
By actions self and
Others of
All past held tenderly in hand
Of universal love
Knowing that each event
Must Be
For the Divine hath surely meant
Exper’ience all diversity
Knowing securely also
That all of seeming time
Contained is in the Now
And is sublime
And thirdly knowing
Every fate
Any sowing
Can create
Is manifest some
Otherwhere
Though we can’t go
From here to there
We can envision
Timelines as
Rows of stitching
Just as was
Grandmother’s knitting
Rising in view
Where she was sitting
Needles to
If in some past row there were
A dropped or twisted stitch
There was a way that she prefer
To correct the glitch:
Rather than every row since that
Completely to undo
Gently slid the needles back
Her most recent stitches through
Then with total love and care
Her cloth’s existing structure for
Worked patiently back down to where
Mistake existed had before
As gently reconnecting
After she was done
Penitent, perfecting
A whole and perfect garment won

Homeless until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ this poet presently lives under perpetual threat of towing with all possessions should her 23-year-old van stop running for any reason.
She is badly in need of a modest reserve with which to field any emergency which might occur.
Donors may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S. It does take several days for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
