The Truth Which is With Love Amenable

From good intention, we find we have two
Motivations for ordinary speech:
I either wish my love confirm to you
Or useful bits of knowledge seek to teach —
Either to comfort and to entertain
Or to enable better living for

Some tell truth, in which love doth not remain
Reaping an argument and nothing more;
Some tell of love, and leave the truth behind,
Let by the self but platitudes be quoth —
Indeed, our modern era seems full blind
To any thought we might redeem them both!

It would a great achievement certain be
Among a folk expect each other lie
Name of consideration, politely
Six times in each ten minutes that go by —
No healthy balance may be thus achieved!

With love truth’s pow’r so expanded becomes
It usual in silence is received ~
Its glory the objecting mind benumbs,
The while awakening a grateful heart
Which blossoms neath its sweetly warming ray
Receiving enablement which it impart
In as smooth and resistanceless a way
As any other way available
To we confined this dim existence to —

The truth which is with love amenable:
A statement that there is no answer to

Homeless until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ this poet presently lives under perpetual threat of towing with all possessions should her 23-year-old van stop running for any reason.
