A Healing
A healing! Ay, that eminence of life
Which sees the body come from injured state
To which it fell amidst this earthly strife
Too feeble to do aught but sleep, and wait
Until at last it feels again the sun
Against the pillows loving hands have propped
And knows this battle hath been fairly won
Creative mission not yet to be stopped
And then she take her pen in hand once more
Again erect, with strength returning swift
And knows those pleasures she had known before
Anon her foot in lightsome step to lift
Seek not for miracles in the unseen
A thousand thousand healings there have been!

Homeless until removal of the stalker/targeter/vandal/arsonist following her allows her to approach any landlord ~ even for a private parking space ~ this poet presently lives under perpetual threat of towing with all possessions should her 23-year-old van stop running for any reason.
She is badly in need of a modest reserve with which to field any emergency which might occur.
Donors may visit http://www.UgiftABLE.com , using code #72D-31S. It does take several days for the poet to be notified of your patronage.
Thank you for supporting quality in the fine arts.
